Description:
- AssemblyAI is seeking a full stack engineer with strong frontend and backend engineering skills to help build user dashboards, developer-centric APIs, and backend systems powered by ML models.
- Responsibilities include building new user dashboards, API features, and endpoints, as well as highly scalable event-driven and realtime systems.
- The role also involves instrumenting systems with metrics, tracing, and logging, refactoring applications to eliminate tech debt, and troubleshooting production issues.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience building front end applications using TypeScript, next.js, and react.
- 2+ years developing REST APIs in frameworks like Django, Flask, Tornado, Fiber, or FastAPI.
- 3+ years of professional experience building backend applications using Python or Go.
- 1+ years of production support experience.
- Must have worked at a startup or high-growth company.
