Remote Software Engineer (Go / DNS)

Description:

• Gcore is seeking a Software Go Engineer to work on their Managed DNS infrastructure solutions.
• The role involves collaborating with a team to develop and maintain backend components for DNS services.
• Responsibilities include implementing and maintaining APIs for DNS management, designing backend components for DNS servers using Go, and developing automated DNS failover solutions.
• The position also involves enhancing DNSSEC solutions and optimizing system performance, reliability, and resiliency.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of software engineering experience with at least 2 years using Go.
• Familiarity with the DNS protocol and experience with DNS server implementations.
• Comfort working in Linux environments.
• Knowledge of modern CI/CD practices, observability tooling, and DevOps methodologies.
• Understanding of core network protocols and security concepts.
