Remote Software Engineer, Growth

Description:

• PushPress is seeking a talented full-stack engineers, mobile engineers, site reliability engineers, data scientists, and data engineers to join their elite engineering team.
• The growth engineering team at PushPress will focus on user acquisition, engagement, and retention for both PushPress and gym owners.
• Responsibilities include building the growth engineering function, optimizing user funnels, implementing new growth loops, running experiments, and analyzing user data.
• The role involves collaborating with product and marketing teams, coding, and strategizing in a fast-paced startup environment.

Requirements:

• Candidates should have at least 3 years of software engineering experience with a focus on growth and experimentation.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, and experience with frameworks like NestJS and Express is required.
• Familiarity with MySQL, Redis, and RabbitMQ for data storage, caching, and message queues is necessary.
• Knowledge of frontend technologies like React, REST APIs, GraphQL, and tools for analytics is essential.
• Experience with data analysis, A/B testing, and tools like Google Analytics, Heap, or Mixpanel is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills, communication, and collaboration abilities are necessary for this role.
• Optional experience with machine learning, personalization, or recommendation systems is a plus.
