Description:

  • The B2C User Engagement team at eyeo is seeking a Growth Engineer to develop technical solutions for driving growth and retention for consumer-facing browser extensions like AdBlock and Adblock Plus.
  • The role involves collaborating with global engineers to work on in-product messaging services, customer lifecycle tools, and consumer-facing websites.
  • Responsibilities include building and scaling high-impact activities through in-product messages, designing and implementing solutions to interact with a large user base, and ensuring operational efficiency of marketing platforms.
  • The position requires working collaboratively with other engineering teams within B2C and the B2B unit(s).

Requirements:

  • Experience working within or closely with a growth team involving engineering, product, and marketing.
  • Proficiency in software development, particularly in building scalable REST APIs, backend server software, server-side JavaScript, and NoSQL databases.
  • Familiarity with at least one major cloud service provider, preferably Google Cloud Platform.
  • Experience with agile software development processes, continuous improvement, and implementing and analyzing A/B tests.
  • Ability to identify delivery blockers proactively, coordinate with others to minimize delays, and work 12-6 PM CET hours.
  • High-energy, action-oriented, resourceful, with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
