OnePay is a consumer financial services app focused on helping people achieve financial progress.
The company aims to provide accessible banking, credit, and payment products to unbanked or underbanked Americans.
The Software Engineer will work on the Identity and Onboarding team, responsible for user sign-in and sign-up flows.
Responsibilities include collaborating with other engineers to deliver high-quality code, building intuitive identity and onboarding experiences, maintaining clear documentation, and tackling complex challenges involving sensitive financial data and real-time money movement.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years of professional experience in shipping and scaling user-facing applications or backend services.
A passion for quality in code, communication, and culture is essential.
Candidates should demonstrate drive and proactivity, as the team values builders and executors.
Familiarity with functional programming concepts is beneficial, although specific experience with the fp-ts library, Node/TypeScript, Kubernetes, and AWS is not required.
