Description:

  • EnergyHub empowers utilities and their customers to create a clean, distributed energy future by helping consumers turn their smart devices into virtual power plants.
  • The cross-functional growth team focuses on initiatives to identify, engage, and convert utility customers with qualifying devices.
  • The role is for a Software Engineer II with experience in advertising/sales/marketing software to integrate tools like Hubspot/Salesforce with core applications (Java/Python) and datastores (Snowflake/MongoDB).
  • The engineer will design and implement software solutions to enhance marketing and client-focused teams' tools for utility customer engagement and enrollment.
  • Responsibilities include migrating email management and signup flows to a self-service Hubspot implementation, supporting analytics through reporting, and expanding enrollment opportunities with device manufacturers and utilities.
  • The engineer will contribute to team culture, participate in code reviews, and resolve technical and operational challenges.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have 4+ years of professional software development experience.
  • Proficiency in Java (preferably Java 17) is required, along with experience in at least one scripting language (Python, Node, or JavaScript).
  • Experience with a modern Frontend framework, preferably React with TypeScript, is necessary.
  • Extensive knowledge of Hubspot concepts and development, including the HubSpot API and SEO best practices, is required.
