Remote Software Engineer II

Description:

• Eventbrite is looking for Full stack Software engineers to join their team in Spain, with the option to work remotely.

• The tech stack includes Python, Django, MySQL, AWS, React, Redux, and is transitioning to a new stack with technologies like Kotlin, DynamoDB, Lambdas, gRPC, and Step Functions.
• The ideal candidate should have experience in building applications, using web frameworks, responsive web design, SQL databases, and ensuring code quality.
• Additional skills include a holistic approach to quality, a passion for learning and mentoring, and proficiency in English and Spanish.

Requirements:

• 1+ years of experience building applications in popular programming languages like Python, JS, Java, Kotlin, Go, Rust, Ruby, etc.
• 1+ years of experience using web frameworks such as Django, Symphony, Rails, ASP.net, etc.
• Experience in building responsive web pages using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, with recent experience in ES6.
• Proficiency in using a SQL database like MySQL, PostgreSQL, MSSQL, etc.
• Strong focus on code maintainability and testing.
• Holistic approach to quality.
• Passion for learning and mentoring.
• Conversational to advanced level proficiency in English and Spanish.
