Description:
Omada Health is seeking a Software Engineer II to contribute to developing customized care plans for members, integrating data from biometric devices, verifying program eligibility with insurance providers, and utilizing machine learning for insights.
The role involves collaborating with top engineers in the health industry, influencing technical decisions, and working on core engineering practices like pair programming, test-driven development, and continuous communication.
The Software Engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing tools to enhance sales, eligibility, and enrollment operations, leading the full software lifecycle, tackling technical challenges, fostering a culture of growth and knowledge sharing, and exploring cutting-edge technologies.
Requirements:
Demonstrated skill in a leading front-end framework such as React, Vue, or Angular, with the ability to manage tasks across the stack.
Considerable expertise in MVC web application frameworks like Ruby on Rails, Django, or Phoenix, preferably with a strong Ruby background.
At least 3 years of experience in crafting high-quality production web applications within an agile development framework.
Proficiency in relational databases, including data modeling and query optimization, and developing scalable, observable, and secure APIs.
Strong independent problem-solving skills, quick learner, and a culture of curiosity and commitment to mastering the profession.
Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with engineering peers and non-technical stakeholders.
