The company is seeking a Software Engineer II to join the Sheet links and formulas team, which supports critical backend features.
The role involves scaling backend services to handle significant growth in user actions.
The position can be based in Bellevue, WA, or remotely from anywhere in the US where Smartsheet is registered.
Responsibilities include implementing impactful features, designing services for user actions, extending the RESTful API, developing server-side Java code, and participating in quality assurance.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 2+ years of software development experience.
A minimum of 2+ years of experience in Java or Kotlin is required.
Applicants must be legally eligible to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis.
A BS in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent industry experience is necessary.
Nice to have skills include MySQL database experience, knowledge of Microservices in AWS or Google Cloud Platform, experience building REST-based APIs, familiarity with Elasticsearch, Memcached, or NoSQL data stores, and familiarity with SaaS applications.
