Description:
As a Software Engineer II at Aledade, you will maintain, improve, and expand the web application and data pipelines.
The role requires engineers who understand that writing new code is not always the solution and can create secure, maintainable, performant, correct, scalable, and stable solutions to complex challenges in healthcare.
You will embrace strategies that minimize risk, focusing on observability, alerting, metrics, high test coverage, and frequent releases that build value incrementally.
You will work on a platform that addresses significant issues in U.S. healthcare spending, enabling preventive care to reduce unnecessary hospitalizations and emergency visits.
Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing scalable and performant solutions and partnering with Engineering Managers, Product Managers, and stakeholders to execute technical roadmaps using Agile processes.
Technologies used in this role include Python, PostgreSQL/Amazon Aurora, Airflow, Docker, Kubernetes, Redis, Snowflake, Confluent, Cognito, Cloudfront, S3, API Gateway, Lambda, and Amazon Serverless Architecture.
Requirements:
A BS/BTech (or higher) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
You must have at least 2 years of experience as an engineer building full-stack web applications as part of a cross-functional team.
A minimum of 2 years of experience working with SQL or other database querying languages on large multi-table data sets is necessary.
Bonus points for having working knowledge of health-tech systems, such as Electronic Health Records and Clinical data.
