Description:
Eventbrite is seeking Full stack Software engineers to join their mission of bringing the world together through live experiences.
The platform processed over 150 million tickets across over 3 million events last year.
In this role, you will build features, design APIs, and scale the product as the company grows.
The engineering organization values collaboration in small teams, mentorship, and inclusion.
Team activities include pair programming, weekly demos, tech talks, and quarterly hackathons.
Engineering teams own their services and systems from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.
Team members participate in an on-call rotation to address issues promptly.
Requirements:
You must have 1+ years of experience building applications in at least one popular programming language, such as Python, JS, Java, Kotlin, Go, Rust, or Ruby.
You should have 1+ years of experience using a web framework like Django, Symphony, Rails, or ASP.net.
Experience in building responsive web pages using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, with recent experience in ES6 is required.
You need experience using a SQL database such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MSSQL.
You should care about writing maintainable and well-tested code.
A holistic approach to quality is essential.
You must have a passion for learning and mentoring others.
Proficiency in English and Spanish at a conversational to advanced level is required.
