Description:

The Software Engineer II role at Pinterest involves building out both the front end and backend for Pinner-facing features to enhance user inspiration on the platform.
Responsibilities include contributing to and leading the product development process from ideation to implementation and release.
The position requires rapid prototyping, running A/B tests, and architecting scalable solutions for millions of users.
Collaboration with design, product, and backend teams is essential to create end-to-end functionality.
The engineer will suggest new product ideas and features while employing automated testing to ensure high technical quality.

Requirements:

A Master’s degree (or its foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Management, Engineering (any field), or a closely related quantitative discipline is required.
Candidates must have at least two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in a related field.
Special skills required include proficiency in REST API, Python, SQL, Javascript, JQuery, Web Development, Git, React, Machine Learning Concepts, CI/CD, HTML, CSS, Node.js, Express, Oauth, and GraphQL.
Any suitable combination of education, training, and/or experience is acceptable.
Telecommuting is permitted.

The salary for this position ranges from $172,000.00 to $234,665.00 per annum, along with standard company benefits.
The position is also eligible for equity.
