Description:

FloQast is seeking a Software Engineer II to join their AI team, focusing on finance transformation and innovation in the accounting industry.
The role involves developing AI-driven applications that solve complex problems and enhance the strategic potential of accountants.
Engineers will take ownership of their work, contributing to the design and deployment of unique solutions in production.
Collaboration with software engineers, product managers, and accountants is essential to understand industry challenges and deliver customer-focused solutions.
The position offers the opportunity to work with advanced tools like Large Language Models (LLMs) and techniques such as Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
Engineers will participate in customer calls and iterate on product feedback to ensure the development of impactful software.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 1-3 years of professional full stack experience at one or more referenceable companies.
Knowledge in web development, RESTful API design, or data modeling is required; AI experience is a plus.
A resourceful attitude and eagerness to learn new technologies, particularly in AI and LLMs, are essential.
The ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including sales and customer success, is necessary.
Proficiency in one or more high-level programming languages, preferably Python and TypeScript, is required.
Candidates should be self-motivated and capable of turning business and product ideas into engineering solutions.

The base pay range for this position is $110,000 - $145,000, with compensation not limited to base salary.
