Description:

  • Verifiable provides industry-leading, API-first solutions to automate credentialing and provider network management for the healthcare industry.
  • The software is utilized by major healthcare companies such as Humana, TriWest, Spring Health, Modern Health, Talkspace, and Grow Therapy.
  • The platform API is built using the latest version of .NET, utilizing serverless and managed infrastructure, and designed following RESTful best practices.
  • The API is containerized and hosted in AWS using Fargate, with functionality offloaded using a message queue to a worker cluster and Aurora as the structured data store.
  • As a software engineer on the API team, you will contribute to the development, scaling, and maintenance of the API platform.
  • You will write clean, maintainable code and balance the need for high-quality software with delivering business value.
  • The role involves solving problems collaboratively and continuously improving skills while supporting teammates.

Requirements:

  • You must have 4+ years of professional experience developing web-based products and solutions, demonstrating a track record of delivering high-quality results.
  • Hands-on experience in building or maintaining RESTful or GraphQL APIs using C# and the .NET framework is required.
  • A solid understanding of software development principles and best practices, including object-oriented programming, design patterns, and agile methodologies, is necessary.
  • Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MS SQL) and writing efficient, optimized SQL queries is essential.
  • Familiarity with AWS services, DevOps practices, and experience using CI/CD pipelines is required.
  • You should have experience working in customer-facing environments and supporting customer inquiries.
  • The ability to troubleshoot issues in real-time and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve incidents effectively is important.
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker or Kubernetes is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and quality, are essential.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills are necessary to thrive in a cross-functional team environment.
  • A growth mindset with a proactive approach to learning new technologies and contributing to team success is required.
  • You should possess strong critical thinking skills, humility, and self-awareness.
  • A bias for action is important; you should be proactive in solving problems and staying updated on industry trends and tools.
