Description:

HackerOne is seeking a Software Engineer II to join their growing engineering team and help innovate their platform.
The role involves collaborating with senior engineers, Product Managers, and Designers to build features for the HackerOne community and its clients.
The position requires effective interaction with Customer Success Managers to understand customer needs.
The onboarding process includes learning the technology stack, which consists of Ruby on Rails, GraphQL, and ReactJS.
Within the first 90 days, the engineer will commit code, lead projects, and develop cross-functional collaboration skills.
The engineer will be responsible for understanding the business value of products and translating feature requests into engineering solutions.
The position is remote, available to candidates in the UK, Ireland, and Poland.

Requirements:

Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience in full-stack software engineering, particularly in a SaaS environment.
Experience with Ruby on Rails or Python is required.
Familiarity with ReactJS, TypeScript, generative AI, ElasticSearch/OpenSearch, and GraphQL is preferred.
A proven positive impact in previous professional experiences is necessary.
Candidates should be tech-savvy, willing to learn from senior engineers, and able to work effectively in a remote environment.
Individuals must take ownership of their own progress and development.
