Remote Software Engineer II

Description:

• HackerOne is seeking a Software Engineer II to join their growing engineering team and help innovate their platform.
• The role involves collaborating with senior engineers, Product Managers, and Designers to build features for the HackerOne community and its clients.
• The position requires effective interaction with Customer Success Managers to understand customer needs.
• The onboarding process includes learning the technology stack, which consists of Ruby on Rails, GraphQL, and ReactJS.
• Within the first 90 days, the engineer will commit code, lead projects, and develop cross-functional collaboration skills.
• The engineer will be responsible for understanding the business value of products and translating feature requests into engineering solutions.
• The position is remote, available to candidates in the UK, Ireland, and Poland.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience in full-stack software engineering, particularly in a SaaS environment.
• Experience with Ruby on Rails or Python is required.
• Familiarity with ReactJS, TypeScript, generative AI, ElasticSearch/OpenSearch, and GraphQL is preferred.
• A proven positive impact in previous professional experiences is necessary.
• Candidates should be tech-savvy, willing to learn from senior engineers, and able to work effectively in a remote environment.
• Individuals must take ownership of their own progress and development.
