Description:
Braze is seeking a Software Engineer II to join their new Chat Apps team, which focuses on building and scaling chat messaging channels.
The team is responsible for the sending, analytics, and subscription management of the LINE channel, including a feature-rich dashboard for composing LINE messages and a platform for processing LINE events.
The role involves building new features, improving performance, and guiding key architectural decisions.
Engineers will tackle significant challenges, such as architecting new iterations of critical components and optimizing systems for resilience as they scale.

Requirements:
Candidates should have 2-5 years of full-stack development experience.
A strong understanding of distributed systems, data structures, and algorithms is required.
Applicants must be self-starters with excellent communication and organizational skills.
Prior experience working in a team environment is necessary.
Bonus qualifications include professional experience with Ruby, Rails, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Redis, Sidekiq, React, and TypeScript.
Experience building distributed systems at scale and familiarity with agile processes are also advantageous.
