Description:

• Braze is seeking a Software Engineer II to join their new Chat Apps team, which focuses on building and scaling chat messaging channels.
• The team is responsible for the sending, analytics, and subscription management of the LINE channel, including a feature-rich dashboard for composing LINE messages and a platform for processing LINE events.
• The role involves building new features, improving performance, and guiding key architectural decisions.
• Engineers will tackle significant challenges, such as architecting new iterations of critical components and optimizing systems for resilience as they scale.

Requirements:

• Candidates should have 2-5 years of full-stack development experience.
• A strong understanding of distributed systems, data structures, and algorithms is required.
• Applicants must be self-starters with excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Prior experience working in a team environment is necessary.
• Bonus qualifications include professional experience with Ruby, Rails, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Redis, Sidekiq, React, and TypeScript.
• Experience building distributed systems at scale and familiarity with agile processes are also advantageous.
