Jobgether is seeking a Software Engineer II, Cloud Infrastructure to work remotely in the United States.
The role involves enhancing and maintaining cloud infrastructure, ensuring public cloud offerings are secure, efficient, and reliable.
You will collaborate with internal teams to implement solutions that support company growth, focusing on automation to streamline processes.
Your contributions will directly impact the engineering team's ability to deliver new products and features.
Responsibilities include collaborating with engineering teams to design, implement, and optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, and other platforms.
You will develop automation tools and infrastructure-as-code solutions to ensure secure, reliable, and cost-efficient public cloud usage.
The position requires building and maintaining systems using Python or Golang to automate infrastructure management.
You will provide mentorship on best practices related to cloud infrastructure and automation.
The role also involves working with DevOps principles to promote best practices across the organization.
Participation in the recruiting process, including attending events and interviewing candidates, is expected.

Requirements:

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience is required.
Candidates must have 6+ years of experience in a DevOps-focused role, with at least 3 years of experience working with AWS.
Proficiency with Linux systems and networking is necessary.
Experience in programming with Python or Golang is required.
Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), preferably using Terraform, is essential.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and eliminate process friction are required.
Candidates must be able to communicate clearly and collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.

The position offers a competitive base salary ranging from $148,800 to $175,000 USD.
There is potential for bonuses and Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
