Description:

  • Included Health is seeking an experienced platform engineer to join the Cloud Platform team, which operates above AWS to build cross-cutting features across infrastructure, observability, and security.
  • The team is fast-paced, diverse, and committed to maximizing impact by shipping 80% of the value faster and learning continuously.
  • Responsibilities include planning and leading ambitious technical projects, creating and maintaining infrastructure for the Cloud Platform, participating in spec reviews, driving product strategy, building features using service mesh technologies, designing systems for high availability across AWS regions, and scaling Agile and DevOps practices.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have strong software engineering fundamentals and the ability to apply them in ambiguous problem spaces.
  • A passion for software and pride in deliverables is essential.
  • Candidates should prioritize impact over progress and have a sense of urgency to move quickly and ship products.
  • Experience interfacing with multidisciplinary teams is required.
  • Proficiency with Kubernetes, Istio, and Docker is necessary.
  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Science, or a comparable STEM-related degree is required.
