Remote Software Engineer II, Cloud Platform - Remote

Description:

• The Software Engineer II, Cloud Platform at Clari will work on implementing the next-generation infrastructure platform.
• They will be responsible for building self-serve capabilities to empower teams to manage and run their services reliably, securely, and efficiently.
• The role involves writing functional specifications and design documents for various components/features/capabilities like cloud-agnostic provisioning, networking, security, auto-scaling, self-healing, and observability.
• Collaboration with other engineers to solve complex technical problems through peer reviews, technical design reviews, and issue troubleshooting is a key aspect of the position.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in designing and building cloud infrastructure, preferably in AWS, including multi-account/region setups.
• 3+ years of experience in provisioning cloud infrastructure using infrastructure as code tools, with a preference for Terraform.
• 3+ years of experience with containers and container orchestration tools, particularly Kubernetes.
• Strong foundation in programming, algorithms, and software application design.
• Experience in cloud configuration management tools such as Chef, Ansible, Puppet, or Salt.
