Included Health is seeking a motivated Software Engineer II to join their Data Infrastructure team, focusing on developing a next-generation event-driven data platform.
The role involves designing and implementing the data platform that supports the company's technical strategy, ensuring efficient and reliable data processing for engineering, data science, and analytics teams.
Responsibilities include collaborating with team members to facilitate adoption, resolving dependency conflicts, prioritizing high-value outcomes, and contributing to team efficiency.
The engineer will engage in code reviews, promote best practices, and help identify and address technical debt.

Requirements:

Candidates should have some experience or an academic background in data infrastructure, data engineering, or machine learning.
A good understanding of data processing technologies and software engineering principles is required.
Familiarity with Spark, Kubernetes, networking, distributed systems, and event-driven architecture for streaming applications is a plus.
Solid programming skills and a grasp of computer science fundamentals are essential.
