Remote Software Engineer II (Front End)

Description:

• Design, develop, and implement innovative software solutions to enhance the EverBright financing program for solar, storage, and energy efficiency projects
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and integrate features and improvements
• Optimize platform performance, scalability, and reliability while following best practices and industry standards
• Stay updated on technological advancements in solar financing, energy, and software development
• Mentor junior team members to foster a positive and collaborative work environment focused on innovation and growth

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with a minimum of 6 years of software development experience
• Experience in designing and implementing complex software solutions, preferably in financial modeling, sales, or operations platforms
• Proficiency in programming languages like TypeScript, CSS, React, and HTML
• Familiarity with software architecture patterns (microservices, MVC, RESTful APIs) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to design efficient algorithms and optimize system performance
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a track record of working effectively in cross-functional teams
• Exposure to solar financing, energy efficiency, or renewable energy industries is a plus
• Experience in Agile methodologies and project management tools
