Description:

  • Hudl’s Front-End Platform team is looking for a Software Engineer II with front-end experience to expand the platform.
  • The role involves developing Hudl’s front-end platform to ensure it is robust, performant, maintainable, scalable, accessible, and secure.
  • The engineer will serve as a consultant, supporting teams with front-end work by answering questions, reviewing pull requests, participating in design reviews, and providing feedback on project plans.
  • The position is open to U.S. remote candidates in Central or East Coast time zones, with specific eligible states listed.
  • Candidates must have at least three years of experience with TypeScript and React, and familiarity with design systems.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have at least three years of front-end development experience, specifically with TypeScript and React, and have contributed to medium to large scale web applications.
  • Effective communication skills are essential, including the ability to share perspectives in meetings, create documentation, and answer questions in a collaborative environment.
  • A growth mindset is required, with a willingness to explore new areas and seek mentorship and feedback.
  • Nice-to-haves include experience with AWS and Terraform, a passion for concepts like Jamstack and micro-frontends, a visionary approach to platform development, and a commitment to mentorship.
