Remote Software Engineer II, Front End - Views (Remote Eligible)

Description:

• Smartsheet is seeking a Software Engineer II, Front End for their Views team.
• The role involves writing clean, efficient, and scalable code in TypeScript, React, and Redux.
• Responsibilities include identifying and eliminating performance bottlenecks in new Smartsheet views, collaborating with other teams, and implementing performance improvements.
• The position reports to the Sr. Manager, Engineering in Bellevue, WA, but remote work within the US is also an option.
• The successful candidate will work on integrating front-end technologies with back-end services running on AWS.

Requirements:

• Must have 2+ years of software development experience and SaaS application development.
• Proficiency in React and Redux is required.
• Experience in building performant and scalable web applications is necessary.
• Ability to work in an environment with frequent production releases.
• Skilled in writing complex asynchronous code and communicating with multiple services.
• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Legally eligible to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis.
