The company is seeking a full-stack software developer with front-end web performance experience to build the next generation views in Smartsheet.
The role can be performed remotely from anywhere in the US where Smartsheet is a registered employer.
Responsibilities include writing clean, efficient, performant, and scalable code, identifying and eliminating performance bottlenecks, and collaborating with teams to understand upcoming features.
The developer will also profile applications to identify web performance issues, enforce web performance standards, and participate in code reviews and architectural discussions.
The position involves implementing performance improvements in TypeScript/React/Redux and integrating with back-end services running on AWS.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 3+ years of software development experience.
A minimum of 2+ years of experience in SaaS application development is required.
Proficiency in React and Redux is necessary.
Experience in building performant and scalable web applications is essential.
Candidates should have a successful track record in environments with frequent production releases.
Experience in writing complex asynchronous code that communicates with multiple services is required.
A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience is needed.
Candidates must be legally eligible to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis.
