Remote Software Engineer II - Frontend

Description:

• OpenTable, part of Booking Holdings, Inc., is seeking a Software Engineer II - Frontend to join the Diner Engagement team.
• The role involves collaborating with product managers, designers, and developers to build and ship features for consumer-facing applications.
• Responsibilities include working on software architecture, code review, bug resolution, and monitoring devops.
• The position requires contributing to the technology stack evolution and building an in-house component library.
• Emphasis is placed on maintaining quality in products, visual designs, UX, software design, code, builds, and customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in software design and development.
• Proficiency in web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with React, Redux, TypeScript, Node.js, GraphQL, React-Testing-library, Jest, Cypress, Webpack, ESbuild, ESLint, Prettier, Docker, Web Performance, and Accessibility.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and understanding of software development workflows and best practices.
