Remote Software Engineer II - Fullstack

Description:

• The Software Engineer II (Full-Stack) will be responsible for independently creating features from scratch and supporting them to ship to production.
• They will write readable, extensible, and testable code, along with relevant documentation.
• The role involves creating, maintaining, and running unit tests to deliver defect-free and well-tested code.
• Translating mock-ups and wireframes into functioning front-end code will be part of the responsibilities.
• The engineer will write and maintain documentation for new and existing features.
• Keeping up-to-date on best practices and new technologies is essential.
• They will actively participate in creating prototypes and PoCs for new initiatives and engage in product workshops to understand and analyze requirements.

Requirements:

• Minimum of a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a relevant Engineering field is required.
• The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in developing web and distributed systems.
• Sound knowledge of TypeScript, JavaScript, AngularJS, Node, and practical experience in implementing various design patterns is necessary.
• Experience in one or more relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.) is essential.
• Basic understanding of Git, Docker, and AWS, along with the ability to write tests at different levels, is required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are a must.
• Understanding of the unique challenges and requirements in developing applications for retail tech solutions or SaaS products is preferred.
