Remote Software Engineer II - Java

Description:

• The Software Engineer II - Java will be part of the product engineering team.
• Responsibilities include designing, developing, and implementing Java/J2EE based enterprise applications.
• The role involves working on exception handling, data structures, multi-threaded programming, memory management, and application tuning.
• Strong knowledge of Core Java, micro-services, J2EE, Struts/Spring, ORM technologies (Hibernate), and unit testing is required.
• Good understanding of design patterns and hands-on experience with RDBMS like Oracle/MySQL.
• Technical competencies include expertise in JDK17, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Docker, and MySQL.
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies, relational databases, SQL, and building frontend/backend applications at scale is essential.
• Additional desired experience includes knowledge of source control tools, SDLC, OOP concepts, HTTP protocols, JSON/XML serialization, document databases, and unit testing.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in designing, developing, and implementing Java/J2EE based enterprise applications.
• Strong knowledge of Core Java, micro-services, J2EE, Struts/Spring, ORM technologies (Hibernate), and unit testing.
• Experience with RDBMS like Oracle/MySQL and ability to write basic SQL queries.
• Proficiency in JDK17, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Docker, and MySQL.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, relational databases, SQL, and building scalable applications.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Beginner to intermediate level design proficiency following UML/C4/ArchiMate.
