Description:

  • The team is responsible for developing new features and enhancing existing ones to streamline and automate processes.
  • The role involves building and maintaining software to process and record customers' retirement savings, improving processes for robustness and performance, and collaborating with engineers and stakeholders.
  • Daily tasks include writing clean code, developing monitors and tests, making informed engineering tradeoff decisions, and participating in the development lifecycle.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years of professional experience building and maintaining backend software is required.
  • Experience in building scalable backend technologies and scaling database platforms (NoSQL, SQL) is necessary.
  • A strong desire to learn and grow, particularly in retirement domains and workflows, is essential.
  • Candidates must be able to think creatively and share knowledge with others.
  • The ability to write understandable, testable code with a focus on maintainability is required.
  • A proactive and empathetic mindset is important for solving customer problems.
  • Formal training in a computer science-related discipline (Bachelor's or Master's preferred) is required.
