Description:
The Software Engineer II will be part of the Monolith Deployments and Quality team at Braze.
The team is responsible for building critical components for the developer experience, enabling fast-paced teams to work on a high-scale distributed system with higher quality.
Responsibilities include managing monolith deployment and integration pipelines, CI/CD processes, release processes, integrations with tools like Github and Slack, pre prod branch testing environments, canary deployments, release validation, and more.
The role involves ensuring smooth and easy deployment of changes to a monolith supporting tens of billions of daily incoming events with no downtime.
Requirements:
Must have 2+ years of relevant experience with a strong track record of success.
Should have strong opinions about code quality and development practices.
Experience in building deployment pipelines and developer tooling is required.
Familiarity with Jenkins, Buildkite, or other CI/CD pipelines is necessary.
Excellent communication skills and a user-centric attitude are essential.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple streams of work simultaneously.
Experience with agile processes and tools like JIRA is preferred.
