Description:
The Software Engineer II will be part of the Multi-User Admin team at SurveyMonkey, responsible for developing enterprise-grade administration features for the largest enterprise customers.
The role involves planning, designing, and building front-end experiences, owning new features from start to finish, collaborating with product managers and UX designers, and focusing on code quality and performance optimization.
The engineer will work with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and modern frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js, code around external service APIs, conduct code reviews, write tech specs, and troubleshoot issues.
Collaboration with other engineers, promoting design patterns, and fostering continuous improvement and learning are key aspects of the role.
Requirements:
3+ years of experience in web application development.
Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
Ability to work on various external service APIs.
Strong interest in code reviews, tech specs writing, collaboration, and issue troubleshooting.
Excellent communication skills for working with co-located and remote teams and cross-functional partners.
