Remote Software Engineer II - Multi-User Admin Team

Description:

• The Software Engineer II will be part of the Multi-User Admin team at SurveyMonkey, responsible for developing enterprise-grade administration features for the largest enterprise customers.
• The role involves planning, designing, and building front-end experiences, owning new features from start to finish, collaborating with product managers and UX designers, and focusing on code quality and performance optimization.
• The engineer will work with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and modern frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js, code around external service APIs, conduct code reviews, write tech specs, and troubleshoot issues.
• Collaboration with other engineers, promoting design patterns, and fostering continuous improvement and learning are key aspects of the role.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in web application development.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
• Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Ability to work on various external service APIs.
• Strong interest in code reviews, tech specs writing, collaboration, and issue troubleshooting.
• Excellent communication skills for working with co-located and remote teams and cross-functional partners.
