Description:
The company is seeking a Software Engineer II to join the Partnerships Core engineering team, focusing on building the Partnerships platform for standard integrations with Payers, PCPs, and Health Systems.
The role involves collaborating with fellow engineers to create scalable systems that provide data and services within Rula and across partners.
The candidate will apply their expertise to improve processes and foster a culture of engineering excellence while enabling Rula to deliver mental health care to partners’ members.
The ideal candidate should demonstrate a bias for action, excellent collaboration, problem-solving skills, and a strong sense of ownership.
Requirements:
Candidates must have at least 2 years of software engineering experience.
Experience working on cross-functional teams is required.
Candidates should have experience managing time-sensitive projects while balancing multiple stakeholders' needs.
A degree in Computer Science or a similar field, or equivalent experience, is preferred.
Experience in developing containerized, 12-factor applications is preferred.
Candidates should have experience developing SaaS applications using the Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud platform.
Experience with Microservices development using NodeJS and TypeScript, GoLang, or Java is preferred.
Familiarity with distributed systems development, using an event-based paradigm, queuing, or publish-subscribe systems such as Apache Kafka is preferred.
Experience with Ruby, React, JavaScript, SQL, and/or Python is preferred.
Candidates should have experience developing applications using PostgreSQL or equivalent.
