Description:
We are looking for a Software Engineer II to join our Partnerships Core engineering team and help build our Partnerships platform.
The focus will be on standard integrations for Payers, PCPs, and Health Systems.
In this role, you will collaborate with fellow engineers to build scalable systems that provide data and services within Rula and across our partners.
You will apply your expertise and experience to improve our processes and foster a culture of engineering excellence.
The ideal candidate will have a bias for action, excellent collaboration, problem-solving skills, and a strong sense of ownership.
Requirements:
You must have 2+ years of software engineering experience.
Experience working on cross-functional teams is required.
You should have experience working on time-sensitive projects, balancing multiple stakeholders' needs.
A Computer Science or similar degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
Experience developing containerized, 12-factor applications is a plus.
Familiarity with developing SaaS applications using the Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud platform is preferred.
Experience with Microservices development using either NodeJS and TypeScript, GoLang, or Java is desired.
Knowledge of distributed systems development, using an event-based paradigm, queuing, or publish-subscribe such as Apache Kafka is beneficial.
Experience with Ruby, React, JavaScript, SQL, and/or Python is a plus.
Familiarity with developing applications using PostgreSQL or equivalent is preferred.
