Description:

  • We are looking for a Software Engineer II to join our Partnerships Core engineering team and help build our Partnerships platform.
  • The focus will be on standard integrations for Payers, PCPs, and Health Systems.
  • In this role, you will collaborate with fellow engineers to build scalable systems that provide data and services within Rula and across our partners.
  • You will apply your expertise and experience to improve our processes and foster a culture of engineering excellence.
  • The ideal candidate will have a bias for action, excellent collaboration, problem-solving skills, and a strong sense of ownership.

Requirements:

  • You must have 2+ years of software engineering experience.
  • Experience working on cross-functional teams is required.
  • You should have experience working on time-sensitive projects, balancing multiple stakeholders' needs.
  • A Computer Science or similar degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • Experience developing containerized, 12-factor applications is a plus.
  • Familiarity with developing SaaS applications using the Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud platform is preferred.
  • Experience with Microservices development using either NodeJS and TypeScript, GoLang, or Java is desired.
  • Knowledge of distributed systems development, using an event-based paradigm, queuing, or publish-subscribe such as Apache Kafka is beneficial.
  • Experience with Ruby, React, JavaScript, SQL, and/or Python is a plus.
  • Familiarity with developing applications using PostgreSQL or equivalent is preferred.
