As a Software Engineer II on the Payments team, you will collaborate with engineers, product managers, designers, and QA experts to develop and enhance features for mission-critical solutions that manage significant capital.
You will assist in implementing SWIFT network integration, contribute to various projects, participate in project kickoffs, and help translate project requirements into technical specifications.
Your responsibilities will include data model design, business logic implementation, API development, frontend development using React, testing and code reviews, providing technical support, and managing production issues.

Requirements:

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is required.
You should have 2-5 years of experience in software development, particularly with modern web application frameworks such as React, NestJs, or FastAPI.
Experience with service-oriented architecture is necessary.
Preferred experience includes working with payments systems, Python/Typescript, and Kubernetes.
You should have an understanding of server-side MVC frameworks like Django, Rails, or Pyramid.
Experience with SQL database schema design and operating Linux clusters is required, with Amazon Web Services being a plus.
Flexibility and adaptability are essential, as you will be managing multiple projects in a fast-paced startup environment.
Experience with payment and accounting concepts is preferred.
