Description:

HackerOne is seeking a Software Engineer II for their Platform Engineering team, located in the UK or Poland.
The role involves contributing to significant projects that enhance the HackerOne platform, which combines human intelligence and AI to improve cybersecurity.
As a Software Engineer II, you will collaborate with Senior and Staff engineers, gaining experience while developing features for HackerOne's community and clients.
The onboarding process includes getting familiar with the technology stack (Ruby on Rails, GraphQL, ReactJS) and engaging with various engineering teams.
Within the first 90 days, you will commit code, lead projects, and develop cross-functional collaboration skills.
The position emphasizes individual ownership of progress and the opportunity to engage in innovative projects.

Requirements:

Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience in full-stack software engineering, preferably in web development.
Proficiency in building applications using Python or Ruby on Rails, ReactJS, and TypeScript is required.
Familiarity with Cloudflare Zero Trust Services, VPN Technologies, ElasticSearch/OpenSearch, and GraphQL is a plus.
Applicants must be tech enthusiasts who enjoy teamwork and are willing to learn from more experienced engineers.
