Description:

  • The Software Engineer II will join the Provider Quality team, enhancing the experience of therapists and psychiatrists in Rula’s care network.
  • The role involves working on the provider portal, which is the primary tool for providers to deliver care efficiently and effectively.
  • Responsibilities include designing and building robust full-stack solutions essential for day-to-day operations.
  • The engineer will collaborate closely with Engineering, Product, and Design partners to ensure systems are scalable, secure, and optimized for performance.
  • This position offers the opportunity to work on high-impact projects that support Rula’s mission to improve mental healthcare.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent work experience is required.
  • Candidates must have 2+ years of professional software engineering experience.
  • Experience in building scalable, reliable, and performant systems is necessary.
  • Proficiency in driving all phases of the development lifecycle, including planning, execution, and post-launch maintenance, is required.
  • An intermediate understanding of modern application architecture, API design patterns, data modeling, security, and performance is essential.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships with peers and partners are required.
