Description:

As a Software Engineer II at Axon, you will play a crucial role in designing new products aimed at providing law enforcement administrators and crime analysts with access to crime data, decision support, crime reports, and criminal investigation insights.
You will collaborate with internal teams and agencies to ensure public safety data is accessible and actionable.
Your responsibilities will include participating in code reviews, driving end-to-end features with Product and Design, and ensuring high-quality and high-performance code.
You will have the opportunity to influence peers, advise senior leaders, coach junior team members, and facilitate cross-team collaboration among engineers.

Requirements:

A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering, OR graduate of a coding boot camp OR 3+ years of relevant experience in a related field is required.
You should have experience developing and maintaining high availability, high throughput web-scale data systems.
Backend experience in managed languages like Java, Scala, Go, C#, or similar is necessary.
Demonstrated ability to make tough technical decisions based on requirements, constraints, and trade-offs is essential.
Familiarity with the latest software engineering and open source technologies is expected.
Industry experience working with SQL or NoSQL data stores is a plus.
Good Linux/Unix/Mac experience is beneficial.

Total compensation includes base pay, bonus, and stock awards, with the starting base pay ranging from USD 100,000 to USD 200,000 depending on the geographic market.
