Description:
Smartsheet is a tech company focused on empowering teams to manage projects, automate workflows, and build secure solutions using no-code tools.
The company has experienced significant growth in EMEA, expanding from one team and three engineers in 2018 to five teams with over 50 engineers by 2023.
The position is for a Software Engineer II, which is remote eligible in Bulgaria, and will initially be employed through a third-party employer of record, with the intention to convert to full-time employment with Smartsheet once the entity in Bulgaria is established in H1 2025.
The role involves contributing to the entire development lifecycle, participating in system architecture discussions, implementing new features, maintaining service APIs, collaborating with systems engineers, participating in quality assurance, and working across multiple disciplines.
Other duties may be assigned as needed.
Requirements:
Candidates must have experience with programming languages such as Golang, Java, C, or Node.js.
Familiarity with front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React.js is required for front-end roles.
An understanding of Object-Oriented Design and Microservice Architecture is necessary.
Experience in building scalable, high-availability applications is essential.
Candidates should be comfortable working in Linux command line environments.
A degree in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience is required.
