Description:

• OpenTable, part of Booking Holdings, Inc., is seeking a Software Engineer II for their Diner Engagement team.
• The team focuses on building and delivering consumer-facing features for restaurants worldwide.
• The role involves collaborating with product managers, designers, and developers to ship features, adapt based on user feedback, and work on software architecture and code review.
• Responsibilities include contributing to the technology stack, building a component library, and ensuring quality in all aspects of product development.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in software design and development.
• Proficiency in web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with React, Redux, TypeScript, Node.js, GraphQL, React-Testing-library, Jest, Cypress, Webpack, ESbuild, ESLint, Prettier, Docker, and Git.
• Knowledge of Web Performance and Accessibility.
• Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and understanding of software development workflows and best practices.

Benefits:

• Competitive base salary range of $119,000-$133,000 for the remote Canada-based role.
