We are seeking a Software Engineer III to design, develop, and implement improvements to our API abstraction layer using Golang.
The role involves optimizing API performance and reducing latency to enhance user experience.
Responsibilities include implementing best practices for API security and governance, collaborating with cross-functional teams for seamless integration of authentication, and writing clean, well-documented, and maintainable code.
The engineer will conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers while staying updated on the latest trends and technologies in API security and Golang development.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 3-8 years of experience in software engineering, with a recent focus on building microservices using Golang.
Proven experience with API design principles and best practices is required.
Experience with an Identity and Access Management (IAM) tool like Keycloak or similar is necessary.
A strong understanding of security principles and best practices for API development is essential.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills are required.
The ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code is a must.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills are necessary.
A passion for building high-quality, scalable software is expected.
