As a Software Engineer Backend III, you will design, develop, and maintain backend infrastructure.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement innovative solutions and influence technical decisions.
Key responsibilities include designing and developing scalable backend systems using Python and NodeJS, implementing efficient APIs and data pipelines, and contributing to the technical design of features.
You will also improve the quality of design and code, optimize systems for performance, and implement security best practices.
The role involves providing technical leadership, mentoring the engineering team, and communicating technical concepts to both technical and non-technical members.
Staying updated with industry trends and advocating for the adoption of relevant technologies is also part of the role.

Requirements:

Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required.
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience is necessary.
A minimum of 5 years of experience as a backend engineer/developer is required.
Proven experience in Python and Node.js development is essential.
Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript and modern ES6/ES7 features is required.
Proficiency in designing and implementing RESTful APIs is necessary.
A strong understanding of database design and optimization, particularly with SQL databases, is required.
Solid understanding of software architecture and design principles is essential.
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines is necessary.
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude toward technical challenges are required.
