Description:
- As a Software Engineer III at 2U Inc., you will lead the development of complex components within software products, focusing on delivering business value and reducing uncertainty.
- You will be responsible for designing and implementing new projects spanning multiple software components and systems.
- Collaborate with product managers to define and refine requirements, plan development tasks, and estimate short-term projects.
- Proactively solve problems, troubleshoot issues, and make well-reasoned design decisions for the team.
- Drive continuous improvement in coding practices, tools, and processes.
- Provide technical guidance to team members and participate in interviewing and assessing engineering candidates.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience as a software engineer.
- Demonstrated experience with the responsibilities mentioned above.
- Experience with technologies specific to the team.
- Flexibility to solve customer and production issues according to urgency.
