Description:

The Living Room team is responsible for building and maintaining Crunchyroll's apps on multiple platforms, including Chromecast, Roku, and SmartTVs.
The team aims to produce robust, performant applications that deliver engaging content to audiences, partners, and internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities include working with engineers, product managers, and project managers to implement new features across Crunchyroll's platforms.
Team members will coordinate on technical designs and technology decisions, manage dependencies, and ensure timely completion of tasks.
The role involves ensuring good code quality through rigorous code reviews and maintaining good code coverage on tests.
The Software Engineer III will report to the Senior Manager, Engineering and can work from Culver City, CA, San Francisco, CA, or US-Remote (West Coast).

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years of Front End development experience.
Experience in optimizing applications to run on low-memory devices is required.
A strong customer focus, ownership, urgency, and drive are essential.
Proficiency in incorporating reliable unit and end-to-end testing into UI frameworks is necessary.
Expert-level experience in developing with React and/or Typescript is required.
Experience in an Agile Software Development environment is needed.
Candidates should have experience collaborating with engineers, including pairing, leading lunch and learns, and workshops.
