Description:

The Software Engineer III, Frontend will be part of the Living Room team responsible for building and maintaining apps on platforms like Chromecast, Roku, and SmartTVs.
The role involves adding new platforms to the portfolio and creating robust, performant applications to engage audiences.
Responsibilities include implementing new features, coordinating with team members on technical designs, managing dependencies, ensuring timely task completion, maintaining code quality through reviews and tests, and developing a comprehensive testing pyramid.
The position reports to the Senior Manager, Engineering.

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of experience in Frontend development.
Ability to optimize applications for low-memory devices.
Strong customer focus, ownership, urgency, and drive.
Proficient in incorporating reliable unit and end-to-end testing to UI frameworks.
Expertise in React and/or Typescript development.
Experience in Agile Software Development and collaborating with engineers.
Familiarity with pairing, leading lunch and learns, and workshops.
