The role is for a Full-Stack Software Engineer focused on frontend development within the Billing, Authorization & Fraud Prevention team.
The engineer will help develop a billing and payment processing system to support new products and pricing models while also building fraud detection and prevention systems.
Responsibilities include transforming complex requirements into user-friendly interfaces, implementing end-to-end solutions, contributing to reusable components, delivering robust code, supporting QA initiatives, participating in architectural discussions, and collaborating with product and design teams.
The engineer will also be involved in on-call support rotation, developing roadmaps, and creating tools to analyze user behavior.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field, preferably in computer science or software engineering, or equivalent work experience is required.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in software development is necessary.
Candidates should have a passion for building user-friendly and reliable applications.
Experience in both backend and frontend development, including APIs, services, databases, and modern UI frameworks, is essential.
Proficiency in React and Typescript is required.
Familiarity with Python, Django, SQL databases (Postgres), and Kubernetes is expected.
Experience with Go, AWS, and billing/payment systems (like Stripe) is a bonus.
Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams are necessary.
Clear communication skills to explain technical concepts to various audiences are important.
A mindset of continuous learning, craftsmanship, and team success is desired.
