Description:
The Software Engineer III will work with the Weedmaps iOS team to write software at a high velocity.
Responsibilities include supporting other engineers through code reviews and pair programming.
The role involves maintaining the build and release pipeline for the iOS platform.
The engineer will be tasked with improving the application's architecture and overall quality.
Close collaboration with product owners and designers is required to break down initiatives and bring them to production.
The engineer will maintain and strengthen the iOS platform capabilities and contribute to maturing the platform architecture.
Participation in agile ceremonies and collaboration with peers and seniors as a pair programmer is expected.
The role includes defining and writing actionable user stories and decomposing initiatives with product management.
The engineer will communicate progress towards releases with stakeholders and keep well-organized documentation.
Staying current on industry changes and technological trends is essential.
Requirements:
A minimum of 4 years of experience with Swift is required.
Experience with iOS Test Automation Frameworks (XCUI) is necessary.
Candidates must have experience maintaining CI pipelines.
Familiarity with cross-platform frameworks such as React Native is preferred.
The ability to write and test complex applications is essential.
Candidates should be able to work in a team atmosphere and assist junior engineers.
Experience writing secure, RESTful APIs with performant database queries is required.
Effective communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to give and receive constructive feedback in an agile environment are necessary.
Fluency in using Git in a team environment is required.
Bonus points for experience with maintaining CI pipelines (Bitrise) and cross-platform frameworks like React Native.
