Description:

  • Roadpass Digital is seeking a Software Engineer III, Mobile (iOS) to join their team remotely.
  • The company revolutionizes road-based travel and outdoor tourism through innovative products and services.
  • Brands under Roadpass include Campendium, Roadtrippers, and Togo RV, making road-based experiences more accessible and memorable.
  • The role involves designing and developing new features for a native iOS app using Objective-C and Swift.
  • Responsibilities include solving business problems, implementing trip planning features, developing APIs, and integrating with other SAS providers.
  • The position also involves providing growth opportunities and feedback to team members, consulting on technical issues, diagnosing and fixing software defects, and collaborating with the team on code reviews and testing.
  • The ideal candidate should have 3-5 years of iOS development experience, a degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience, proficiency in Objective-C and Swift, Auto Layout, Git, and experience with Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, AWS, Mapbox, and geospatial data is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, excellent communication, and collaboration skills are required.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of professional experience developing for iOS.
  • B.S. or higher in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
  • Proficiency in Objective-C and Swift, Auto Layout, Git.
  • Experience with Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, AWS, Mapbox, and geospatial data is a plus.
  • Ability to work as a self-guided team member in a remote working environment.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with experience working with highly technical teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
