Remote Software Engineer III, Product Engineering

Description:

• HackerOne is seeking a Software Engineer III to join their growing engineering team and help innovate their platform.
• The role involves collaborating with senior team members, Product Managers, and Designers to build features and products for the HackerOne community and its clients.
• The engineer will interact with Customer Success Managers to understand customer needs and will guide junior engineers.
• The position requires identifying and improving technical weaknesses in codebases.
• The onboarding process includes getting to know the team and technology stack (Ruby on Rails, GraphQL, ReactJS) in the first 30 days.
• Within 60 days, the engineer is expected to contribute code and become effective in the codebase.
• By 90 days, the engineer will lead their first project and develop cross-functional collaboration skills.
• The role is remote, allowing flexibility in time and location, and requires ownership of personal progress.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in full-stack software engineering, particularly in a SaaS environment.
• Experience in developing applications using Ruby on Rails or Python is required.
• Preferred qualifications include experience with ReactJS, TypeScript, generative AI, ElasticSearch/OpenSearch, and GraphQL.
• A proven positive impact in previous professional experiences is necessary.
• The position is open to candidates based in the United Kingdom, Ireland, or Poland.
