Description:

Wrapbook is seeking a Software Engineer III (Ruby on Rails) to contribute to their mission of building an outstanding technology company.
The role is remote and available to candidates in Canada.
The engineer will work as part of a cross-functional team, significantly contributing to core features from start to finish.
Responsibilities include collaborating with developers, designers, and product managers to provide elegant solutions to customer problems, reviewing code, writing performant and secure software, and ensuring code is well-tested and well-architected.

Requirements:

Candidates must have at least three years of experience building production web applications.
A willingness to learn and improve skills is essential.
Experience in writing SQL queries and a general understanding of SQL indices is required, with PostgreSQL being a plus.
A customer-focused mindset with attention to detail and a commitment to quality is necessary.
Experience in building Ruby on Rails applications and APIs is required.
Familiarity or interest in modern Rails Frontend technologies like Hotwire (Turbo and StimulusJS) is preferred.
