Remote Software Engineer in DevOps

Description:

• As a Software Engineer specializing in DevOps at Robusta Technology Group, you will be responsible for enhancing the efficiency, reliability, and scalability of software development and deployment processes.
• You will collaborate with development, operations, and quality assurance teams to implement and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines, automate infrastructure provisioning, and ensure system stability.
• Tasks include Linux system administration, Kubernetes cluster management, containerization with Docker, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Ansible, CI/CD pipeline implementation, monitoring and logging setup, and security best practices implementation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Software Engineer or DevOps Engineer.
• Strong knowledge of Linux system administration.
• Hands-on experience creating and managing bare-metal Kubernetes clusters.
• Familiarity with Docker containerization and basic understanding of Helm charts.
• Proficiency in scripting (e.g., Bash, Python) and infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and related tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Knowledge of cloud platforms, particularly AWS, is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills, commitment to automation, and efficiency.
