Description:
The Cash commerce incentive team at Block is responsible for developing and enhancing Cash App card and Cash App pay offers, as well as other reward programs.
The team aims to create a connection between Square, AfterPay, and Cash App's networks of sellers and businesses with Cash App's 53+ million active customers.
The primary focus is on the Cash App Boost program, which rewards consumers for purchases made using the Cash Card and other payment methods.
Opportunities exist to innovate and scale this product, especially with the recent acquisition of AfterPay, expanding network capabilities.
The team is tasked with inventing future products that leverage the vast consumer network and local networks to create ROI for merchants.
Contributions made in this role will impact millions of users across various scenarios in the online and local commerce landscape.
Requirements:
3-8+ years of software development or equivalent experience.
Must possess boundless curiosity, persistence, and a drive to accomplish tasks.
Enthusiasm for multiple technical areas is essential.
Experience in building backend systems and collaborating with front-end/mobile teams.
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
Experience in Promotion, Rewards, Affiliate Networks, and Card-Linked Offers (CLO) is a rare bonus.
